 | This year, the year I turned 30, was the year that I promised myself that I would learn how to drive, so when March rolled around, I set about finding an instructor with whom I would have a shared dialogue and no need to explain myself. As a trans person, sitting in the car with someone for endless hours was really daunting, I was thrilled when I found Nigel, so thrilled in fact that half way through my learning experience, I moved an hour and a half away from London and commuted weekly for my lessons so that I could remain a student of his. He has endless patience and a way of teaching that meant that I passed first time. I’m so glad that I found Nigel, not only because I found the best instructor in London, but also because I found a friend for life. Thank you x |
